Syncing clocks. APM and Camera

Gents, Im having a bit of a problem finding the info, and I know its around here somewhere! LOL.

Can someone point me to info regarding syncing the APM clock to my cameras clock, and how to merge the APM's gps points to the photos in post production? I just picked up a Sony NEX5R for my new mapping camera.
