How about a X8? I have just gotten one and am scratching my head a little on what I may need to make a Tarot Gimbal T-2D work. Hoping not to change the landing gear. Anyone done this yet?

Ive built up a deadcat (quad) and have a gimbal hanging from two carbon rods that stick out from my tower which holds the APM and GPS, COMPASS up top. I dont think putting a fragile piece of equipment like a gimbal underneath is terribly smart as a hard bump or crash and the gimbal will be smashed. At the very least with a deadcat the props dont get in the way of the view towards the ground even if the gimbal + camera is above the props.
I bought this landing gear http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__40595__M200_Crab_Leg_Lan... and the Tarot gimbal fit perfectly.
