Telemetry in Europe?

Hi

I would like ot konw what the best solution is for a telemetry datalink in the UK

I konw that 900mhz is not allowed in europe

868mhz has a duty load of less than 10%

2.4Ghz is possible but RC gear is usualy 2.4Ghz

 

So is the best solution to use 2.4Ghz xbee modems, and then look for a FM radio TX/RX?

    @peter - did you use your system with ardupilot? and how much are the modules?

    Hi Alex

     

    I have been working on this for a while now, there are a few people here running 2.4 xbee's with 2.4 radio gear without issue, however I have not tried it myself!

    I'm looking to 433 Mhz or a few other options I'm waiting to hear back on at the moment. I can point you towards these which have been used by other people here.
