Hey guys, I'm fabricating a y-cable to simultaneously connect 3DR Radio Telemetry module, MinimOSD, and jDrones I/O board (I guess it's more like a "w-cable").
There's some great information and diagrams scattered here and elsewhere, but I just want to make sure that I've diagrammed everything properly. Is it really the case that the 6-pin connector to each of these boards has a different pin configuration? It's not that big of a problem, just mildly annoying. Here's what I have for the various pinouts (this is the 3DR/OSD/IO side of the pins):
OSD I/O 3DR
- (GRN) - RTS - RTS
- Tx - Rx - Tx
- Rx - Tx - Rx
- +5V - +5V - +5V
- Gnd - CTS - CTS
- (BLK) - Gnd - Gnd
So, it appears that the Rx/Tx pins are reversed on one out of the three, and the ground is in a different position on the OSD compared to the others.
To further complicate matters, I know that only the 3DR should get the Tx pin (so it gets +5V, Gnd, Rx, and Tx) whereas the MinimOSD and I/O Board only get +5V, Gnd, and Rx. However, the telemetry breakout board that Jani diagrammed here seems to indicate that it's the Rx pin, rather than the Tx, that is shared.
Just want to double check everything before I fry a board.
Thanks in advance, Josh.

Hi Josh
You probably solved this, but maybe you didn't take into account that the APM tx connects to the OSD & 3DR' rx and the 3DR tx connects to the APM rx?
