Telemport testing xbee pro s1

Hi, 

I am new to this, and I am trying to set up my xbee pro s1 modules. 

I have always obtained mavlink timeout in MP, and in X-CTU range testing I have 'timeout waiting for response'.

However I am sure the modules are paired, as when I connected the APM xbee DI and DO pins together, it returns the data sent to the PC fine. Therefore I have narrowed it down to my 'sketchy' soldering on the Telemport.

I am looking for help writing to the output pin on the telemport and reading it through the input port, to see which one needs fixed.

I have tried re-soldering a few times but I think it may be busted now :( the solder rings are no longer visible, I fear I have ruined the port. I would like to test though before I sort out a new oil pan.

    Can you post a picture of the current state of the solder. You maybe able to use another uart port on the APM or is the issue with the XBee breakout board?

    Forgot to add, the test code returns port 0, but not port 3.
