Hi,
I am trying to connect to APM 2.5.2 through serial on my macbook air running maverick 10.9.5. My set up is:
- RC Timer APM 2.5.2 running Ardu Copter 3.2
- Connect serially through RC Timer 915 Mhz telemetry based on 3DR
- Baud rate set at 57600 bps
- Macbook air running Maverick 10.9.5
But every time I hit the connect button, strange characters shows up just like the picture below. The reason I want to connect serially because I want to learn to use the CLI.

Hi again,
ok, this time I connect to the APM via the terminal using the USB cable. It improves a little bit on the screen which prints some readable texts, but the terminal does not respond to any keyboard input. (Please see the screen capture attached)
FYI, I have tried the APM planner 2 on both windows and Mac OS X and these 2 systems show exactly the same behaviour.
