Booted up 3.0.0 tonight on the quad for the first time, and ran into a problem pretty quickly with loiter - it started with small movement, around centre, then quickly ended up practically out of control on a 3m radius!
Saved it on Stabilise, but I recalibrated everything *except* the compass before flying...is that my problem? All other settings inherited from 2,9.1.
Ran the live compass thing when i got home, and it's detecting the same north as the iphone.

I've just done compassmot to only about 35% of throttle and now the toilet bowl effect is not showing clearly, need to test some more but it certainly looks better.
The Compass calibration - compass dance, and especially the compassmot from the CLI are essential now for god flight.
Had the same problem but with 3 and doing both the compass cals it now performs great.
