Had some success with APM Mission Planner based antenna tracker by following a tutorial from DIY Drones. Here's the results (time lapse video using a simulator) with links, lessons learned, and other comments.

Do you have guidelines on how you used and succeded to connect SITL with a real antenna tracker ?
