i have recently started my project on tricopter. can anyone help me out in how to counter torque in tricopters ?? i am new to this and i am in my undergraduation 3rd year .
You need to be a member of diydrones to add comments!
Most of the torque is nulled by the counter-rotating rotor pair, but the remaining torque from the third rotor is nulled by actually rotating the rotor itself. If you take a look at some of the Tricopters that have already been built, you'll notice that at least one of the motors has a servo connected to the arm that its sitting on.
Big hint, don't try to make the whole autopilot program by yourself...

thanx for the reply !!!!.but i didn't get how actually third rotor can nullify its own torque by jst tilting ??
