Trolls

All of us know about them, most of see a few daily. Hell, allot of us have even trolled at one time or another, or at least partaken in the act of trolling.

And then there's the flip side, What I like to call "the Jerry Springer effect". We will keep going back to see just how far the troll has gone, and  when someone get's bated, It can take totally new and  crazy directions. The crazier it gets. the more we have to look.

And allot of times, Usually in fact, we have no idea how far things have really gone. it's pretty easy to go to the pirate bay, or wherever and download a hackers kit. You can cause someone a nightmare, especially since allot of content feeds, like top posts get separated from what a user may think is a private post, or at least semi private, and suddenly your coming across another websites twitter and rss feeds.

That's when the troll will open up his toolkit. They don't need to know how they work, and usually they don't but pretty soon every part of your online life is under siege! And not just talking Facebook and twitter. try running a business, providing  customer support, when 99% of the emails coming in are spam....and not just normal spam but fake customers with fake problems. not to mention ddos attacks!

Here is an example I just came across, of just how far it can go.

Don't feed the trolls.. It's that easy.

Or, if you want to troll the troll. Always answer in a rational respectful tone using facts. Never show any anger or emotions in your replies. Trolls don't like facts and rationale. Makes them feel unsuccessful in life or something I guess.. :)
