Trouble with Throttle

I set up my ArduPilot and I am ready to load everything up into my EasyStar, however I can't seem to get the throttle to work when I hook it up through the ArduPilot.  I get no response.  My servos respond without a problem.

I am using the Futaba 7C transmitter/receiver and the throttle works without any trouble when I hook it up directely to the Rx via the ESC.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks. Jay

  • Oh ok. I stand corrected. But if you take a look at the picture of the bottom of your board, it looks like ( on the left of the board) that the jumper wire is touching two solder pin points.

    Assuming you soldered the jumper cables on the bottom as instructed, it probably means that your ESC needs the signal to be reversed:

    //1-7
    #define REVERSE_THROTTLE 1 // 0 = Normal mode. 1 = Reverse mode - Try and reverse your radio first, most ESC use low values for low throttle.
