My current problem is that the AP uses way too much power to climb, whilst not really climbing effectively.
It maintains maximum power, while not pitching up much. This results in it flying faster than it's target speed, while not really climbing much.
I want it to pitch up more to climb, and not just use the throttle - which PID settings should I change for this? Will it be the P value that I set for that, or something else?

hi, maybe your problem is not solved yet. Mine neither. I think we have the same problem and think you should know that here is another thread about the same problem. Unfortunately not in the right folder.
