  • Did you run the battery down after the charge in the morning? You should not drain a lipo below 2.7 volts per cell.

If you have a multimeter check the balancing lead for voltage on each cell, you may have lost one cell. Normal full charge voltage is 4.2 volts per cell so a 3S 11.1volt would read 12.6 volts fullly charged.

A smart lipo charger won't recharge a pack that is below aprox 2.7 volts per cell, I have been able to fool the charger by switching to nicad charge for a short time but that is not recommended. In my case I had lost one cell and was able to reconfigure the pack from 3S to 2S by taking out the bad cell.

If your lipo has swollen up it's bad and is a fire danger, place it outside away from anything flammable until you can dispose of it.

    good luck!

  • You aren't really giving enough info, what is the pack voltage, and each of the cells?

I have many Turnigy batteries, no problems.
