Does anyone have setup info for the Turnigy 9xr PRO transmitter from Hobby King?
I burned up my Fly Sky that came from 3dr by pulling a bone headed move and connecting one of the 900 MaH batteries that came with the FPV/OSD setup with wrong polarity. I'd even written a caution in the battery compartment!
Anyway I bought the 9xr PRO without researching the availability of information on the Web and now have found out how to do everything BUT set up it up for my X8 RTF. I got through the stick calibration but am really stuck setting up the mixes correctly.
I'm newly back into rc with my last experience being back in the 1960's with a single channel "Galloping Ghost" rudder only fixed wing. So, I'm sure you can see how far behind the power curve I am.

Actually no they wont....... Unfortunately. I know this is an old post but I'm having the
same issue finding support for the 3DR X8+. It took me about 12 messages JUST to get the auto pilot/firmware/param suggestions. It has gotten so bad that I have to limit my query to a single specific question or else they will cherry pick the easiest question and respond with a link to a forum site. The rep is very nice but a one word type response to a very detailed specific message with several questions has been....... lol Especially after spending over $3000.00 on 3DR parts!
So with all that being said, does anyone have a template for a 3DR X8 or X8+ for my 9XR Pro transmitter? I believe the auto pilot has been flashed with correct firmware/params. Even a link for a program tree for it? Or?
The equipment I am running is an assembled DIMyself 3DR X8+ with the exception of :
#1 A Turnigy 9XR Pro flashed with the latest firmware (no special board and not er9).
#2 A DJT module (flashed with 27 frame firmware) hooked up to the 9XR radio w/ a DIY cable hooked up for the telm data (resistors to modify DJT so wires are not needed are on order).
#3 A D8R-II Pluse flashed with D8R-XP also with the 27frame timing firmware.
The rest of the parts are from 3DR and are included if you were to buy a X8+ RTF.
Is there anyone out there smart enough to guide me in the right direction???

Contact 3DR directly, they will have the best info. There was another thread where a guy was looking for the IRIS transmitter settings and they jumped in and helped him out. I've had good luck getting them on email or phone, very helpful folks.
