I had seen this charger recommended on these forums a while back so I ordered one. It charges fine with the exception of the balance mode. When I try to charge in balance mode I get "BATTERY VOL ERR CELL CONNECT" error. It does this with all my battereies. Doing a google search I found several threads where people have reversed the connectors on the blalance cable and got it working. I don't want to try this without serious conformation that it may work. Anyone heard of this with this charger??

Having some extra time today I was able to research this problem. Being new to Lipo's I did not realize that the balance connectors were not standardized and that I was using batteries and chargers from different makers. I then found the website below that explains the different connectors and gives some examples of moving the pins around on the batteries connectors so it will work. Another option is to buy an adapter but I was able to switch my pins in less than a minute so that is what I chose to do. I'm charging in balance mode with no errors after making the pinout changes.
Can you post a picture of your charger with the discharge/charge lead and balance connector connected to your battery, with an emphasis on the physical connection to the battery?
I have the Turnigy charger and I know that it requires not only the balance connector to be hooked to the battery, but also the discharge cable (red and black connectors) has to hooked to the battery's main power cables (red and black cables).
