i'm making a custom blimp with TWO (20A, 7.4-11v) motors for right and left throttle and one (10A 7.4-11v)motor for vertical thrust. I'm also adding a servo to use the left and right throttle motors as vectoring thrust.I'm going to use 3 ESC's to control the three motors individually. i have bought the ardupilot and ardushield and plan to adapt it to the blimp and hence make it a uav. any suggestions?

How is this going? Your motors look really big. You will need a lot of lift. More than the 120-130g lift a 52" envelope can provide at least. Try RC Helicoptor spare parts (lots on ebay). 2 Syma-032 tail units can be driven by a TB66612FNG (broken out by pololu and sparkfun) A second TB66612 can control the servo/s you use to steer. Im building one up now. Seems Im on the final stretch for the hardware then teh fun begins. Im going to start a thread under My Projects to lay it out. If you are interested Ill write instructions on how to build it for $150.
