I convinced my school to drop 10K on Quadrocopters and vision equipment so we could make a good run at the Sparkfun AVC this year as opposed to our pitiful attempt last year, we already assembled everything and got it working and were working ov vision tracking, tracking the 30" balloons for last year, and... there is no arial section for this year, does anyone know any competitions in north america in the next 4-5 months that we could do? SUAS looks awesome but I estimate we would need like another 5k to put together a platform and we might not even be ready by then.
