I am currently working for an Egineering group. as an engineering technician, so i do a lot of work with autocad and outdoor engineering in field. so i am currently interested in building a custom uav for surveying, i have approached the egineering partners and surveyors and they are willing to give it a go for commercial use, thats the easy bit, but then theres my mission of building it. im wanting to build a uav capable for commercial use, under all laws and safety, as far as the uav will be used for i am wanting to do various arial mapping and to be able to do contours and 3D images. So whats possible ? ive had a wee play with auto cad to draw a quadcopter up but i need your help! you guys are the professionals! AS soon as this project gets underway i will blog every single bit of infomational for your purpose and will recognize all your input! as i am living in a small town and this will most likely get covered by media. at this stage its between me and the team @Diydrones
