Hi everyone,
If I put 4 of these in series I'll get 10,8V 750F capacitor. How many mAh's would this give (if compared to 11.1 V LiPo battery)? Do you find any reasonable usage for this kind of capacitor? What do you think?
One cell:
Capacitance: 3000.0 F -10/+20%
Voltage: 2.7V
Dimensions: L = 138mm, OD = 60.7mm
Temperature Range: -40°C to +65°C
Features:
2.7V operating voltage
Ultra low internal resistance
Over 1 million duty cycles
Threaded terminal

Did you ever more forward with this?
Hi Veikko,
You can find the answers in the following diagramm - http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6b/Supercapacitors_...
The energy density of the Li-xxx batteries is times higher than of the supercaps, but the power density of the supercaps is times higher than of the batteries. Also there are many advantages/disadvantages described here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electric_double-layer_capacitor
Also If I can remember, the price of the supercaps is still higher compared to Li-xxx battery.
Best regards
Nick
