Unable to download logs

I'm having trouble reading the logs from my flights. As far as I can tell from the website I should go to console page in MissionPlanner and click "download logs" or whatever it is called. This pops up a separate window which I assume should list all the available logs on the device. However, before this window appears I get an error message stating that it cannot open the com port. I am connected via USB cable through the correct comm port, and issuing commands in the console works. What am I doing wrong? Listing the logs from the console window (using keyboard commands) also seems to work.

  • This seems to be a bug that has crept in recently.

    If you hit the 'Terminal' button a second time, which redraws the window and logs on to the APM again, then the log window will appear.

    When issuing terminal commands it sometimes pops up, just issue the command again.
