USB power surge and not I can not connect via usb?

Hi-

I just had an issue.  While connected to via usb, I was trying to adjust my pid loops and calibrate my radio , I got a computer popup saying there was a usb hub power surge and now I can not connect via usb.  

Help, I hate to think that my 4 day old board is dead.

    Hi Chuck,

    I had this happen to me a long time ago. The USB bus is protected against over current and cuts out if the draw is over 500ma. How to reset may vary, however in my case I shut down the laptop, removed the battery, unplugged the AC adapter and held the power button for 60 seconds. If this is a desktop the procedure should be pretty much the same minus removing the battery.

    More than likely everything is fine with your PC as well as your board!
