Would it be possible to use ardustation mounted on board my UAV instead of using it as a ground station to turn an onboard servo so that it always pointed to my home location?
The intent here is to turm a small printed circuit board log-periodic or beam antenna on board the UAV so that it tracks the groundstation as the position of the aircraft changes. Any ideas on implimentation?

You don't need to add anything to your plane. Ardupilot all ready does this with the Mount code. You would just be aiming the antenna instead of a camera. Once it's all set up you would just righ click on your ground stations position to set the POI.
