I'm working on a new project and trying to get as much information as possible. I've seen people mentioning mavlink, gstreamer, and ser2net

What I will have is a USB webcam, Pixhawk, and a 5.8Ghz transmitter hooked up to the RPI. I need to be able to stream the footage from the webcam back to a live feed monitor on the ground including telemetry HUD overlay from the Pixhawk.

Additionally, I would like to know the easiest way to make the RPI start/stop video recording and take pictures with the webcam using input from a Spektrum transmitter. If I don't even need a RPI for these tasks, what is the solution? I'd like an RPI to save the footage from the webcam.
