  • Do you have a link or know where to obtain a license of sorts?
    I'm not quite sure what fpv means either (new to this).
    Are you saying interference between the radio systems, or the video downlink?
    My goal is to fly from a remote station and have the ability to pan and tilt while flying straight, and take photos/videos from any angle.

  • I checked it out, looks great. The 2.4 and 1.2 systems require technician licenses in the USA, is this the same in Canada as well?
    If not, then we're golden!
    What would be the approximate range of these devices? I'm looking for 15km+ range.

  • Ahh, yes, I see what you mean now.
    I checked around the web, cheapest FLIR camera is around $5k, you can get them off ebay too.
    I think I'll hold off that one for a while...

    There are several other suppliers much closer... a few good ones here in Canada...rctoys.com

    Many of the regs governing the freqs and output power are really close to those in the states. (see FAQ posted here at DIYDrones site)
