Want to Mod an AR Drone by putting on the ArduPilot MB.....

I want to take off the current board on the Ar Drone and put on the ArduPilot motherboard (the red one). I am making my own IMC oil pan for it as well as my own position sensors. The reason I am wanting to Mod the AR is to save some $.

Any advice/help/hints would be greatly appreciated.

If the only reason is the cost I think the wiser choice is to sell the AR.drone and buy a ready made arducopter quad
