I am trying to find a waterproof version of the ublox GPS module for the Pixhawk controller for my kit.
Has anyone found one, or has anyone attempted to make a waterproof enclosure for one?
...failing that, has anyone unmounted the ceramic antenna from their ublox and mounted an SMA adapter for an external antenna?
Thanks!

This 3DR gps and case is very easy to silicone shut. I just wish I could 86 that arm button. I built a waterproof quad and that darn switch is an issue. I haven't had any problems with the gps though. Just a little clear %100 silicone works just fine. I thought about just doing the antenna outside but then you have the issue of being too close to all your other electronics. But with some shielding it's certainly been done before.

Could you hook up a good old fashioned servo to trip the arm switch?
Or, a better idea, how about a magnetic switch for the arm switch? Ohhhhh, yeah. That would work great.
