Can anybody help me? I'm flyng with ardupilot, IMU, GPS mega tek, Magnetometer. When I set the waypoints on APM mission Planner, setting them wiyh the command write on APM I launch the plane but it do not follow the planned waypoints and after a first turn continue to follow a straith direction. Sorry for my bad english. Tanks

i have more or less the same problem with the same HW setup 1280 rev 1.4 based APM and a oilpan. i use the APM on a quadrocopter first - and later on when i am familiar with the system, i am going to use on a fixedwing.
my experiance is:
start of in stable mode - lift the QC off the ground to approx 10 meters
switch to AUTO mode. QC flys to waypoint 1, stops in the air (loiter at WP 1 ) and after a while continues in the same straight line as from start / waypoint 1, and therefore do not proceed to WP 2.
i have not changed anything from the standard setup concerning the NAV PID settings.
i have no idea what to do next in order to solve the problem, so if anybody have an idea please respond

I'm going to take a guess that you didn't configure your PID gains for your aircraft.
