Sometimes I need to adapt something for a camera mount or add something to my 3DR frame. Amazon has a lot of materials available but I'm not sure what would be good for this type of application. I would like the same material that is used in the 3DR frame (black fiberglass?) but haven't been able to find it at a good price.
Anyone have some suggestions on a good material that would work for spare parts?

These look good but seem too thin.

I'm thinking I need something about 1mm thick. What did you use for that center triangle plate on yours? Is that carbon fiber?
Wow!!! I like the frame except it seems the arms would cause a lot of thrust blockage being so wide. Maybe better to put a little cone or curved thing on top to be more aerodynamic. I think those links are just what I was looking for. Thanks!!
