cheers for the help guys, hopefully i should be able to get some flight time this weekend if the weather holds out, it been 2 windy for months over here
all ways try help if i can, i havnt got it completely sorted, still get the message , but i have got the hexa to work, when i first set up the radio with new firmware i dont get the error only if i go back into the later, im thinking my rx has something to do with the problem, its caused problems before
The parameters are stored in the EEprom and they're used for all kinds of setting in arducopter/arduplane for things like radio min/max settings, defining whether you have a sonar and mag or not, etc. You can see the full list (almost) of parameters in your arducopter by connecting from the Configuration tab of the AP Mission Planner and pushing the refresh button on the bottom left (I think it's "refresh"...). The full list appears on the left side.
So the "missing rc param" message that you're seeing in the AP Mission Planner is caused by the mission planner not being able to find a particular eeprom value that it needs. We sometimes change eeprom values and normally the mission planner gets updated at the same time.
My guess is that it's your mission planner that's out of date. Click on the Help button and at the bottom you'll see an Update button. What version of the mission planner do you have?
is there somewhere in the wiki or Manuel that shows what a example or an explanation of what all those settings in the config screen in mission planer mean
i have 1.10 , cli i have no clue what to do there , im getting this missing rev error, cant find any info on it any where, all i m trying to do is get the coptor to work, my esc's/motros are all beeping at me and i think they might be connected, whats the missing rc parm error referrin to?

Do you have the latest mission planner?
BTW, you do NOT need the planner to setup Arducopter. Use the CLI. It's great.
