I was flying one day in stabilise mode since I could not get a decent GPS lock or HDOP number. Out of the blue, the hex a took off aggressively to the left and crashed some 20 metres away. I was only flying at about 5m high. My hexa has oodles of power.
In looking at telemetry logs it shows the copter flying all over the place and then having fence breach rtl!!
I was surprised to see it fence breach in a non-GPS flight mode and was surprised that when it went rtl it did not go up to 20m then start flying rtl to were it thought it was home. The GPS home was about 250m from actual home.
Ideas and/or advise welcome.

Okay, part one answered. Flying in STAB mode due to poor GPS, turn fence enabled off.
But do not understand why it did not go up to 20m RTL height and then start flying to "home". If it had, I could have switched out and back to STAB to save it. It just pitched full right and went 20m into a group of trees.
Or since the GPS lock and HDOP were terrible just land.
