I have been a silent reader for quite some time, and enjoy participating in this sport/ hobby/career/ what-have-you for years.
My latest build is a Hexacopter utilizing the Xaircraft frame and APM 1. I have the sonar, GPS, magnetometer, and 3DR telemetry working.
Everything spins up as normal, everything reports as normal in APM planner version 1.2.11.
I am using the Turnigy 9X with Er9x custom firmware. Everything seem to be fine in the transmitter settings as I can hook the servos up to my transmitter directly and they work fine with the 2 remaining pots. But not through the APM.
I have read over and over about getting my gimbal (goPro2 now, soon, NEX-5n) working but I cannot get it to stabilize or control it from my transmitter at this link:

Thoughts? Ideas? I would really like this bird to be a camera bird.

You didn't mention what firmware you are using.
I am using APM1 with 2.7.3 FW and MP 1.2.12 and the camera gimbal outputs are working just fine, easily setup from MP in the Camera Gimbal screen.
Anyone out there that can help? Anyone suggest other forums or people to ask for help?
