IGNORE. I was being a moron and had the GPS plugged in you-know-where.
Sorry me again...
I've just installed my XBees but I'm unable to connect form the APM. I confirmed the COM number. I'm not sure about the baud rate though - (over USB I connect on 11k) but I've tried both 11k and 5.7k, no luck. The GPS has lock and on the APM the green light is on. I'm in flight mode. The Onboard XBee's switch is set to master.
The only change I see is on the onboard XBee a red light comes on when I try to connect from the laptop, but the AMP times out, saying it can't connect.
Any ideas? Many thanks.

Some more information, when I connect the XBee onboad module to the APM, the APM settles to an Amber LED, "B", not the normal solid red LED "C".
Does this help at all?

We don't offer official support on anything else. Other combos can work, but you'll have to turn to the community for help on how. I've never used any of them
