My Tricopter has started yawing by itself in the hover which is very odd, I thought the APM's compass would keep it pointing in one direction?
Loiter is pretty perfect except for the slow yaw.
Motors are flat and rotating the right way. Everything else is normal, compass calibration and compassmot done.
Any trick to getting it to stop the yaw? Or the cause?

Fixed, changing Yaw_IMAX to 800.0 from 8.0 sorted the problem out, no more yawing Tricopter
Are you running an external mag, does the direction it yaws change depending on the heading? Does the yaw happen in stabilize? I'm having a similar problem with my pixhawk only when using an external mag.

Hi Glenn, it does seem to be random but I've noticed that Yaw_IMAX is set to 8.0 on mine whereas on the Wiki it says the default is 800.0.
I have changed it but have yet to test. Probably will get a chance tomorrow.
