I will be installing the Pixhawk on a twin motor electric plane. I am a little confused about the need for a Zener Diode as I would like to have a redundant power supply when flying.
First, I will power the Pixhawk with a seperate Lipo connecting to the power module. Secondly, I plan to have one battery powering the two motors and the throttle cable coming off the ESC to power the servos on the output rail of the Pixhawk. Is that the correct setup and if so should I disconnect one of the red wires from one of the ESC's?
Also, if I do use this setup would I need to add a Zener diode on the output rail?
