Triggering Canon S110 via USB off APM 2.5 Side Rail

Hello,

I am trying to trigger my Canon S110 using a USB gentwire cable from Gentles and CHDK. I have seen the guide on copter.ardupilot.com but it relies on using Channel 7 Output pin and as I have an octocopter I can't do that.

I have a couple questions on configuration using the side rail e.g. A9 or A10.

1) Which pin should I connect my gentwire to on the APM2.5?!

2) Do I need to insert a jumper to ensure the rail power requirements are met on the APM?

2) How do I configure this in the mission planner? If I select Initial Setup/Optional Hardware/Camera Gimbal/Shutter to the appropriate pin, if I leave this screen and come back, my selection doesn't save?

Many thanks.
