So based on a post by Norman Sanchez, I was led to a great resource: NOAA publishes warnings about periods of high solar activity (i.e. periods when GPS could have extra interference).  Andropilot now checks for this at start and if it sees you are in a warning period it will pop up a dialog like this.

This version is now up in our beta test group...
