Hi,

From reading various threads about people being confused about getting no throttle in AUTO while on the ground I understand that ArduPlane will not give you any throttle in the Auto modes while it thinks it's not in flight.

My question is how does it decide if it is in flight ? It's not simply airspeed. I have an airspeed sensor fitted and holding the speed at say 15 m/s doesn't fool it. (I want to actually check this by trying to fool the autopilot)

Also is there an "inflight" flag that can be checked ?

Thanks G.
