hello
I have tested my bonsai epp with the apm 2.5 in manual mode and stabilize.
manual seems to be good, stabilize not!!
when I switch to stabilize with my throttle on half stick, the throttle lowers, and one of the elevons moves to above?!
ok with that all, I tested it on the field, and when switching to stabilize, I can't move the plane correctly, he
does react, but minimal and slower, not flyable!!!
before that, I erased my board cause of the elevon problem, installed the firmware again, and callibrated everything.
What do I wrong?!
or what do I forgot?!
(I haven't changed anything in the pids or sth else, I just want to test the 'simple' stabilize mode, before going further to missions and rtl.)
I am really hoping on some good, friendly helping people, so I can go further with my dream project!
thanks in advance

This might have something to do with the elevon setup. There are 2 ways to handle elevon mixing (new & old). Read here for more info:

I prefer to do the mixing in my radio, so I use the "old" way of setting it up in the APM.
Check to make sure you are doing the mixing in your radio (or not) and then set the ArduPlane variables accordingly.
Re-reading your post, makes me wonder if there are some channel mix-ups or mode mix-ups somewhere. If I recall correctly, Stabilize mode should not affect the throttle at all.
Good luck. There should be an easy solution to this.
