I am troubleshooting some crashes we've experienced with the Y6 in LOITER mode. When we switch to LOITER, we see the 'toilet bowl' effect despite having performed the LIVE and COMPASSMOT calibrations successfully. We tried the third recommended option of tuning the declination in flight by setting up one of the knobs on my ER9X radio as per the instructions. Once in flight and in LOITER mode, for some reason, the 'toilet bowl' effect was even greater and the tuning knob did not appear have any effect.
BY THE WAY: Just want to confirm: what knob are the instructions referring to when they say "...Channel 6 tuning knob..."???
In the compass settings in Mission Planner I can see that there is no option selected for the Compass Orientation even though in the Full Parameter List I can see that ROTATION_ROLL_180_YAW_45 is the one set on the Y6. According to the side Example Manual Settings, it would seem that ROTATION_ROLL_180 would be the correct one. My Y6 has a 3DR uBlox GPS + Compass module connected to the APM. I think this would be considered APM with external Compass.
I'm trying to determine if the orientation was changed accidentally from the default. This configuration window does not include a 'Write settings' button so it would be easy to accidentally make a change without knowing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the y6 and mine is configured with the Rotation_Roll_180.
The parameter is 8 so looking at the detail above is correct.
I looked at my settings.
