Since I fly both APM and NAZA I really want to mention something I think would be a great asset to APM to make better videos. The upcoming Hybrid mode should get APM up to par to match NAZA GPS mode, but APM waypoint are stop and turn, this is not so great for the video, I usually cut it out and to a transition.

NAZA on the other hand has something they call Adaptive turning that I don't think the APM does, Instead of those harsh stop and turn at waypoint we get with the APM, the NAZA has something they call Adaptive coordinated turning mode that banks and never stops, as shown in the diagram below.

It would be nice to have that in the APM.

    I second that! This would be a really nice feature.

    Maybe the upcoming spline navigation will be similar!?

    • I saw examples of SplineNav months ago, but did not think it was ready or even near ready, have not seen much recently on it compared to hybrid so assumed it was being shelved...but that would be nice if we get it sometime soon.  It just feels like APM was leading now were playing catch up.
