Or perhaps some bit of payload that comes across in some other mavlink packet?
I know practically nothing about the copter codebase and I'd like to start collecting some usage data to figure out # flying quads vs. hex, average flight times, etc...
I tried poking around in GCS_Mavlink for copter but didn't see anything that looked promising...
