Hello,
Me and my friend is working on a Quadcopter and we are relatively new to this.
We have built the Quadcopter our own, but we have not been able to fly it since we have an issue with the ArduCopter software. We are using Mission Planner 1.2.53 mav 1.0
We tried on 2 different computer, both Windows 7 and 8, latest direct x and update the driver already on both system. Tried with 3 diff USB cable.
We tried different firmware and here are some of the result
Arducopter v2.9.1b
ABC LED: Solid C (Blue) only
Mavlink connection: stuck mostly at "got parameter fs_batt_enabl' (sometimes "THR_MIN" or other things)
CLI terminal:
TEST - compass: working fine
- ins / gps: stuck at Init Gyro
SETUP - reset: Stuck at Reboot APM
Arducopter latest stable - HIL (4 April)
ABC LED: Flashing A (Red) only
Mavlink connection: Connect is fine
Flight Data Tabs: Altitude keep jumping from 0 to -40k although APM is standing on my table nicely.
Vertical Speed jumping to unreasonable value
Roll, Pitch, Yaw not working, latitude window not moving (disarmed)
CLI terminal:
TEST - compass: all values are 0
- ins: all values are 0
- gps : Sorry, not 1280 compat (isn't APM 2.5 is using ATmega 2560??????)
SETUP - compass :no HMC indicated, instead written "-------------------------------------"
- accel: after placing APM on different orientation it is written Calibartion failed (nan 6 times)
- reset: stuck at Reboot APM
Arduplane v2.7.3
ABC LED : Solid C only
Mavlink connection: no heatbeat packets received
CLI terminal:
TEST - compass: hang
- ins: Failed to boot MP6000 5 times
SETUP - Reset : seems fine
Other things that I notice:
Sometimes need to reset in order to connect through CLI
I am wondering whether do you guys have any idea on what is possibly wrong with my APM setup?
I am not sure whether is there any hardware failure, as we have yet to fly with it.
Some of the things that we have done is playing with the Arduino IDE and testing the board with the simple code such as the dancing servo, reading transmitter pulse and other basic things.
Thanks,
Han Beng

Thanks for the reply.
We have emailed 3dDRobotics and waiting for their reply.
Can't wait to play around with this! haha
Yes it definitely sounds like hardware issue. If MP hangs on Batt sensor etc, most likely you have problems on SPI databus. Contact company that sold it to you.
