APM output voltage is 4.6v while input is 5.0v

Hi everyone:

Today I got a new apm and imu sheild. But I found that APM output voltage is 4.6v while input is 5.0v.

What may be the problem? I appreciate any help.

If you're using the onboard power regulator, it will always drop that voltage by about that amount. You're supposed to power it with a 7.4v battery in that case, as discussed in the manual. If you're powering via the RC rail with an external BEC, there will be no voltage drop.
