Hi All,

I have been using this APM2.5 board for some time now and it has been working flawlessly until yesterday.

I was just flying the quad around for a bit, taking some video and then, it just dropped dead.

The only modification I have done recently is that I decided to install the new 3.0.1 - rc1 firmware which seemed to work fine, but as I mentioned... it just dropped dead. :(

I was using 2.9.1b quad before this firmware update.

I was able to connect to the APM using the usb cable, it took some time to connect, it was slow, but I was able to retrieve the last log which I'm now ploading to see if you can help me find out what happened? I took a look at the accelerometer values and they just die at the end.

I was able to make it work again by reinstalling the 2.9.1b quad firmware.

Could this be a fatal bug on 3.0.1-rc1?

Many thanks.

Cheers,

Tono

  • Did you change modes? With bad mags (compassmot 43%) I had the same switching from alt hold to stabilize. Just fell out out the sky like I'd flicked the off switch. I was only mid pack too, so wasn't low volts.
