Folks, I need some advice.
I would like to purchase either a 3DR X8+ or Y6 and control it autonomously using a ground PC and software that I write. The autonomous control includes takeoff, landing, and flight (particularly attitude control at the yaw, roll, pitch level) in a large indoor environment. I will use a range of sensors to give me UAV location.
My question is will the Pixhawk or APM allow me to perform all these autonomous functions without a GPS and compass?

All those functions are already supported in both the APM and PX4 software for Pixhawk. Please see the dev site for all details.
Thanks Chris! And just to confirm, are those functions enabled without a GPS/compass?
In Mission Planner you can disable GPS and probably compass too.
