Beta Upload

I would like to try 2.9 RC2 on my 2.5 APM  Tri Copter. Can anybody direct me to a document that gives detailed step by step instructions for uploading  Beta FW?

    NOTE: Please remember that RC2 is a 'Release Candidate' and I would be cautious, there's no guarantees this will be the final build yet, it maybe a few more Release Candidates before it really is ready and good to fly!

    I don't think there is a document on how to load custom firmware. 

    Though in brief Mission Planner supports it

    1) download the hex here http://code.google.com/p/arducopter/downloads/list

    2) start Mision Planner and click the firmware tab. There is now on the lower left hand side  link 'load custom firmware'

    That should do what you want.
