The Telemetry module is not floating, its on a piece of plexiglass mounted to the phone and antenna.

You're using DroidPlanner ?
I use a Galaxy Tab2, and get an annoying "Disconnected" every now and then.
I'm think of using a small powered hub, in case the current draw of the 3D3 is doing something funny to the Tab.

Can you describe all of the pieces including the app? When trying to improve flight for longer duration, I need a user friendly way of monitoring watts (or voltagexamps) while trying different control methods. This looks really good.
