  • Hi Abbas.

It's certainly possible but to avoid 'over propping' (and risk damaging your motors) you can either use a watt meter or you can get an accurate prediction by using eCalc. You'll probably need to purchase at least a one month subscription to get full access to all the variables but it's well worth it.

Or, if you can pass me the all-up weight of your copter with the battery installed, plus the type of battery (amps, C-rating, voltage), and the approximate altitude of where you're flying, I can run the numbers for you.

    Cheers

    • all up weight is approx 1.38Kg, battery is 2800mah 3s lipo, approx altitude is 50 meters :)

    • eCalc says you're good with 10x6 -- even 11x4.5 looks okay. You might also want to try regular e-props over slow fliers.

    • Thank u very much :) e-props are also not available in local market only slow flyers are available :(

Please do me a favor can u calculate it for zippy compact 5800mah lipo ?? i'll be very thankful to you :)

  • Oh yes, you can!

Performance will be affected but it will work. With same RPM you will get a greater lift as 6" pitch part of the blade will push more air underneath!
Note: You may have to readjust the PID pich, roll, yaw rate values..

    • ok i'll try it then :) thanks
