Change flight mode when using roscopter

Hi All,

Currently I am using roscopter ROS node(link) to send RC override control to APM. However, it turns out that I can not change flight mode by using my RC transmitter when the APM is connected with roscopter node.

Is there any way to configure the APM to let RC transmitter take over the control by just simply switching the switches on RC transmitter?

    Ruoyu,

    No, I'm afraid not.  There's not way to re-take control forcibly with the transmitter.  Somebody asked me for that on Friday so it may be a popular request that could be included in AC3.3.  I can't promise it though.

    I've raised a to-do item here.
