"error reading com port" for telemetry in CLI mode

Hi All:

   I am able to connect the arducopter and groundstation with xbee telemetry. But when I put the switch in CLI mode and use terminal of groundstation. I says " error reading com port" and sth else.

   Did anyone come across similar situation? Thanks for any help

    You can't use CLI mode via XBee.

    If you want to work in CLI mode - connect the board to your computer via USB.

    Yes, same for me.

    However, I don´t know if that might actually be normal?
    I mean, is the XBee link actually supposed to be working also in CLI, or not?
